Operations Officer to join the Banking Operations department so as to
work at Uchumi Commercial Bank Limited to achieve and surpass safety and
quality objectives !o the reward of both the individual and UCBL

Reporting Line: Banking Operations Manager
Location: Uchumi Commercial Bank Limited (UCBL) - MOSHI
Reporting to the Banking Operations Manager, duties will include:
Preparing cheques for clearing/deposit and handle cheques books request and issue
Preparing interbank clearing and Suspense account .
Account opening process
Process and issue banker's cheques
Process commission charges
Process foreign exchange transactions (sale, purchase, traveler's cheques, drafts, letters of credit and documentary
collections.
Process incoming and outgoing transfer of funds
Monitor suspicious transactions as per regulations
Observe risk appetite levels in executing day to day activities
Proactively come up with new ideas on product improvement, innovation and cost reduction measures
To do ATMs and Mobile banking reconciliations
Perform any other duties related to Banking Operations that may be assigned by the Banking Operations Manager
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have
Degree or Advanced Diploma in Finance, Banking, Accounting or any related field.
Training in Risk management
One to two years working experience in Banking Operations.
Decisiveness, Resilience and Resourcefulness.
Performance orientation and strong problem solving.
Good communication and high level of interpersonal skills.
Strong commercial acumen.
