Tanzania International Container Terminal Services Limited (TICTS) is a member of Hutchison Port Holings Group (HPH) of Hong Kong. Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH ), a subsidiary of the multinational conglomerate Hutchison Whampoa Limited (HWL), is the world's leading port investor, developer and operator. The ~PH network of port operations comprises 319 berths in 52 ports, spanning 26 countries throughout Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, the Americas and Australia. Over the years, HPH has expanded internationally into the logistics, transportation related and hotel businesses. These include cruise ship terminals, airport and hotel operations, distribution centres, rail services and ship repair facilities. Generally the candidates will be responsible to work into responsible department to enable them to gain understanding of a broad range of the company's operations are carried out effectively and efficiently.
IT Technical Support ( 1 Position)
Job Summary
To assist the Technical System Administrator in ensuring high availability of RDS Network, RDS-LEX devices, Telecoms infrastructure, desktops and laptops, server resources in use by the business. Also monitoring all computer resources and escalating issues to the appropriate IT personnel as they' arise.
Qualification and skills level
Applicants should possess Bachelor Degree or its equivalent in Computer Science and Networks from recognized Institution.
Highest level of integrity and ethics compliance,
Ability to communicate fluently in English and Swahili,
At least four (4) years working experience in IT Technician Support with hardware and software
