Mkombozi Commercial Bank Plc established in 2009 as a full fledged commercial bank offers wide spectrum of banking services

The bank has embarked on- an expansion program of adding more branches. The bank is now desirous of getting able and qualified individuals to fill the following posts in its new branch at Moshi.

TELLERS-TWO POSTS

Key Responsibilities:
A bank teller or a cashier undertakes bank transactions and interacts directly with customers. Detects fraudulent transactions, notes, cheques etc and helps prevent losses in a bank. Bank tellers are directly responsible for cheque encashment, savings deposits and withdrawals. Must keep accurate balances in their. drawers; check if everything is accounted for. The responsibilities also include ordering products for the customer like cheques, deposit slips, etc.

Qualification & experience required:
Bachelors Degree/Advanced Diploma, Ordinary Diploma or
Certificate in commerce with specialization in economics, accounting, finance, book keeping.
Knowledge of computer is required, especially data entry and other programs which deal with transactions.
A minimum of 3 years working experience within the Banking services sector as a Teller/Cashier.
Excellent communication skills
LOAN OFFICER- RECOVERY -ONE POST (HEAD OFFICE)

Key Responsibilities:
Loan recovery officer will provide technical support to Branch
Managers and loan officers in bad debt recovery in order to effectively manage loan recoveries and written off loans as well as manage and mitigate credit risk. She/he will also manage the workout and resolution of non-performing loans in order to preserve principal and prevent charge-offs and Manage loan default and written off loans by undertaking daily to monthly analysis and reporting issues/exceptions/severity to Director of Credit.

Qualification & experience required:
Bachelors Degree/Advanced Diplomain Business
Administration, Finance, Accountancy or any related qualifications.
Minimum of 5 years working experience in Bank credit department of which in administration of loans, advances and overdraft;
Competency in using Excel, word and advanced spreadsheet analysis is an added advantage.

RECEPTIONIST/MESSENGER-ONE POST

Key Responsibilities:
Work as a bridge between the clients and bank personnel, Perform basic clerical duties, which is a combination of administrative work, and banking tasks Involved with customer service and must help customers with any queries. Deal with supply management and file maintenance. Delivers goods from one point to the next e.g. messages and items, such as documents and newspapers.

Qualification & experience required:
A high school/Certificate with a pass in English Language are basic to the position.
An experience of 2 years as a messenger in a bank is an added advantage
Adequate comprehension skills to understand directions
A good command of the English language, both verbal and written
Highly trustworthy in handling fiduciary matters for bank deposit
Has above average interpersonal skills to deal with office

LOAN OFFICERS-THREE POSTS

Key Responsibilities:
Process loan applications. Advice loan applicants of all documentary requirements in the loan application. Check and ensure that all loan application submission is in order and proceeds to process the loan as per bank's loan policies. Explain to prospective borrowers the loan application requirements as well as the various loan products, interest charges, processing fees, penalty charges and payment term options available. Analyze applicant's financial situation, stability of income sources, credit standing and outstanding credit debts, payment records with previous loans if any and property ownership and other acceptance criteria.

Qualification &Experience required:
Advanced Diploma in Business administration, Finance or any
field.
A minimum of 3 years working experience within the Banking services sector in credit department.
Substantial experience in credit analysis for retail banking
Excellent communication skills.
Computer Literate.
CREDIT SUPERVISOR-ONE POST
Key Responsibilities:
The main job of a credit supervisor is to ensure appraisal of loans lead to high quality of the loan portfolio .Regularly review the loan portfolio status and recommends appropriate measures to be taken. He /she is the link between the manager and borrowers. Must have good experience in analyzing commercial/retail loans.

Qualification & experience required:
Degree in a relevant field (MBA preferred)
A minimum of 5 years working experience within the Banking services sector.
Substantial experience in credit analysis for' commercial banking
Excellent communication skills
Computer literate.
CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER-TWO POSTS

Key Responsibilities:
Interact with customers and provide information enquiries about products or services understand the customer's problems and resolve complaints. Handle general questions and complaints.
Help a customer decide what product or service would be suitable for their needs, make regular changes or updates to a customer's profile or account information and also have to keep records of transactions and maintain a database of information. Perform all front desk activities.

Qualification & experience required:
Diploma, general education degree or equivalent
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Knowledge of relevant computer applications
3 Years experience in banking activities
Knowledge in Banking products
CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR-ONE POST ~

Key Responsibilities:
A customer service supervisor is primarily responsible for improving the performance of the customer service department.
Ensuring that customers always have their banking issues resolved professionally and promptly, and have an overall positive banking experience. Inspire the team of staff under his/ jurisdiction. Draw upon banking sales and service experience, advising on products to customers - including bank accounts, deposit products, lending, and referring more complex needs to specific product specialists.·

Qualification & experience required:
Bachelors Degree/Advanced Diplomain Business
Administration, Banking, Marketing or any related qualifications
Excellent communication skills (Writing and speaking)
Minimum of 5 years working experience in banking industry.
Competency in using Excel, word and advanced spreadsheet analysis.
MARKETING OFFICER -ONE POST
Key Responsibilities:
Formulate strategies based on the company's objectives and budget, has to do market research .To know the profile of the target consumer, their needs and requirements, analyse the demographic and personal details of the consumers and provide ways to make the product appeal to them. Need to be in touch with resellers and maintain contacts with them either through phone calls, mails or personal visits, to keep records of sales figures and the results of their marketing initiatives, to meet potential clients and demonstrate to them the product or services in order to increase the banks customer base and sales volume.

She /He Will also be responsible to formulate groups for microfinance lending.
Qualification & experience required:
Bachelors Degree/Advanced Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or any related qualifications
Excellent communication skills (Writing and speaking)
Minimum of 3 years working experience in banking industry in marketing department.
Competency in using Excel, word and advanced spreadsheet analysis.
BRANCH ACCOUNTANT-ONE POST

Key Responsibilities:
A branch accountant will report to the Branch Manager and ensures that the bank's policies, controls, operating mechanisms and guidelines comply with procedures of the bank and are adequate and effective which provide appropriate solutions to internal problems. Also ensures that preparation of accounting/statements comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

Qualification & experience required:
MBA, Bachelors Degree/Advanced Diploma in Business
Administration, Finance ,Accountancy or any related qualifications
CPAIACCA is an added advantage
Minimum of 5 years working experience in banking industry in managerial position, preferably at branch level.
Competency in using Excel,. word and advanced spreadsheet analysis.
