Tanzania Posts Corporation invites applications from suitably qualified
and experienced Tanzania citizens to fill the following vacant position
JOB TITLE: POSTAL CLERK III (x 20 )
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Certificate of Secondary Education
• Should have good analytical communications, interpersonal and Computer skills
• Fluent in English and Swahili languages (Oral and written)
• Should be not more than thirty (30) years of age
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS
• Preparation of registered delivery receipt and parcels advice’s
• Preparation of letter, parcel and delivery bills
• Dealing with inward and outward, primary, and secondary sorting duties
• Sale of stamps, airmail form envelopes and envelopes and postcards and postal orders at the post office counter
• Acceptance and delivery of parcels, registered letters, foreign magazine and other entry items (inland and foreign)
• Preparation of inland parcel bills
• Receipts makeup and dispatch of delivery of private, letter bags
• Issue money order advises
• Any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor
DUTY STATION
Successful candidates shall be stationed at the Tanzania Posts Corporation regional center of DSM, Tanga, Singida, Arusha, Mwanza, Dodoma, Kilimanjaro, LIndi, Tabora, Mtwara and Kigoma
REMUNERATION
The above post competitive remuneration as per Tanzania Posts Corporation salary structure and incentive package
