EXECUTIVE SECRETARY - AFRICAN ASSOCIATION FOR RURAL ELECTRIFICATION (CLUB-ER)

The CLUB-ER is recruiting its Executive Secretary (ES). The ES position, based in Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire) for 4 years renewable once, is open to any individual from a country of an institutional member of CLUB-ER (www.club-er.org) with the exception of the country hosting the headquarters (Côte d’Ivoire).

Aged between 38 and 60 years old, the ES is an acknowledged specialist of rural electrification on the African continent. Having high level of education (engineer or Master), the ES shall demonstrate at least fifteen (15) years of professional experience in managerial or executive positions in a public or private entity operating in the electricity sector of which at least 5 years in rural electrification.
He/she masters English and French, both spoken and written, and has excellent communication skills. He/she has international experience and knowledge of regional and / or continental and / or African networks.
