VACANCY

The Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC) was established under the Public Corporations Act No. 17 of 1969 by a Presidential Order through Government Notice number 115, published on 25th August, 1978. The Centre is wholly owned by the Government of United Republic of Tanzania and operates under the purview of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.
The AICC was established to manage and control the Headquarters’ complex of the defunct East African Community in Arusha which belonged to the defunct East African Community. It also owns Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre as per Arusha International Conference Centre (Amendment) Order of 2014, dated 19th March, 2014; and provide facilities and services on the complex for purposes of conferences, meetings, seminars etc.

The Centre invites applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill in the below mentioned vacant post:-

1. HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATOR II (ONE POST)
Answerable to Senior Hospital Administrator
(a) Qualifications and Experience
Holder of a Bachelor Degree/Advanced Diploma in Public Health Services Administration, or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institution with at least at least three years work experience in a similar position in a reputable organization/institution.
Must be Computer literate
(b) Duties and Responsibilities
i. Supervise all health working tools and other hospital resources.
ii. Coordinate budget preparation for health related activities.
iii. Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly activities implementation report.
iv. Interpret Laws, Regulations, Directives and other Government documents.
v. Ensure that good relationship between AICC hospital and its customers is maintained
vi. Coordinate referral administrative procedures to patients.
vii. Give administrative advise on day to day activities regarding health activities
viii. Prepare and implement development plans
ix. Educate health employees on regulations and working procedures
x. Coordinate the implementation of training program to employees at the Centre’s Hospital.
xi. Innovate techniques of improving working performance at the Centre’s Hospital.
xii. Supervise performance and health operations at the Centre’s Hospital
xiii. Prepare staff data base
xiv. Perform any other duties relevant to the scope of work that may be assigned by Senior Hospital Administrator

2. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER II (ONE POST)

Answerable to Senior Information Technology Officer
(a) Qualifications and Experience
Holder of Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Communication Technology or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institution with at least three years working experience
Must be specialized in Programing and well versed in PHP, JavaScript en databases such as MySQL and MS SQL.
(b) Duties and Responsibilities
i. Assist in the provision of technical advice on procurement of MIS equipment, hardware and soft ware
ii. Assist to prepare MIS regulations and guidelines
iii. Assist in installation and maintaining a modern Management Information System.
iv. Provide technical support in application of Information Technology.
v. Finding the causes of ICT systems problems and make necessary restructuring.
vi. Reporting and repairing ICT system problems.
vii. Attending daily ICT system problems and keeping records of maintenance.
viii. Recommending policies, standards and standard procedures for the controlling efficient use of ICT systems in the Centre.
ix. Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and manpower plans for the Information Technology Unit.
x. Maintaining records on the condition the ICT system performance in the Centre.
xi. Ensuring that required daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually reports regarding ICT activities are prepared on time
xii. Researching and producing specifications
xiii. Designing and writing new software programs;
xiv. Testing new programs and fault finding;
xv. Developing existing programs by analysing and identifying areas for modification;
xvi. Integrating existing software products and getting incompatible platforms to work together;
xvii. Creating technical specifications and test plans;
xviii. Preparing training manuals for users
xix. Maintaining systems by monitoring and correcting software defects;
xx. Investigating new technologies;
xxi. Performing any other duties relevant to the scope of work that may be assigned by the Senior Information Technology Officer.

SENIOR REGIONAL NUTRITION OFFICER-IRINGA

TITLE; SENIOR REGIONAL NUTRITION OFFICERS (2 POSTS)

The center for counseling, Nutrition, and health care ( COUNSENUTH) is a Tanzania non- profit, non- governmental organization working to scale up nutrition work in Tanzania. The mission of COUNSENUTH is to improve quality of life for vulnerable groups through cost- effective, evidence- based, locally appropriate nutrition intervernance trough active engagement with citizens, police makers, and government authorities at all levels.

COUNSENUTH is inviting applications to fill Two positions of senior Regional Nutrition Officers, which will be based in Iringa and Mbeya regions. Applications should be capable of working wit people of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds. The incumbent must have very good interpersonal skills, highly motivated creative, team player with high degree of integrity and must be fluent in both written and spoken Kiswahili and English.

Position Summary
These positions will report to the senior program manager for project implementation and will oversee the implementation of project activities in Iringa or Mbeya regions. The senior regional nutritional officers will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of project activities.

Qualifications and Experience
The applicant must:
• Hold a masters degree in Nutrition, public or any other relevant social science degree at level.
• Have at least 3 years working experience in neutrino or related project program.
• Have experience of working with Government institutions, civil society organization and community partners.
• Have a first degree in nutrition if the masters degree is not nutrition.
Responsibilities
• Work with senior program officer officer-SBCC team leader and other members in coordinating and facilitating the maternal and child nutrition program.
• Assist in capacity building of program regional/ district pertness.
• Participate in proving technical supportive supervision to the implementing partners under the program.
• Participate in preparing plan of action, implementation and evaluation of the program activities.
• Follow up closely the relevant partners and stakeholders in material and child nutrition activities.
• Provide technical support to the regional neutrino coordinators program officers
• Compile monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Any other work as assigned by the authority.

Community Forests Pemba is actively seeking a Water Security Officer in order to assist the organization with rainwater harvesting activities. In addition to rainwater harvesting, the Water Security Officer will be responsible for water Catchment Conservation activities in collaboration with forestry, agroforestry and agriculture professionals.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in a related field
  • Three years of qualified experience in Rainwater Harvesting and community development
  • Strong skills as a communicator and trainer
Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement rainwater systems
  • Use a variety of rainwater harvesting techniques include ferrocement
  • Implement water filtration systems
  • Develop and implement water catchment conservation activities in collaboration
  • Monitor and track project progress and water quality.

Job Description

Bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance Economics, Commerce or equivalent qualifications.
Must have audit qualifications such as ACCA or CPA and CIA.
Knowledge and skills in computer applications for auditing purpose.
At least 5 years audit experience in Banks or financial institutions.
Must be very familiar with IFRSIIAS etc.
Well knowledgeable and experienced in banking operations or financial institutions.

Tanzania Mortgage Refinance Company Limited (TMRC) is a private sector non-deposit taking financial institution. - TMRC is a Mortgage Liquidity Facility (MLF) for Primary Mortgage Lenders (PMLs). Its purpose is to support PMLs to do mortgage lending by refinancing PMLs' mortgage portfolios on a long term basis.

Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible for managing revenue and expenditure accounting operations of the Company.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepares, monitors and implements plan, approved budget and expenditure for the company and ensure
provision of timely monthly and quarterly performance reports;
Checks correctness of claims and payments submitted for payment;
Timely processes payments to both internal and external customers and ensure documents are properly filed;
Ensures that revenue and payment documents are properly secured to prevent abuses;
Maintains records of all accounting transactions for updates, reconciliation and prompt reporting
shortfall;
Captures, tracks and updates the Company asset transactions and maintain the Non-current Asset register;
Perform quarterly physical stock count for cash value items and maintains accountable documents register;
Ensures that clients are fully complying with contract terms including settlement of debts as per contract;
Coordinates development of sound Internal Control Systems for management of Accounting Systems;
Verifies and issues cash value items to authorized customers and those received from suppliers prior)
signing of delivery notes;
Prepares Bank Reconciliation for all bank accounts of the company and takes the necessary action thereto;
Ensure compliance to statutory requirements including payment of taxes, social security contributions, skills, development levy and other deductions on salaries; and Performs other duties assigned by Management
